Mark Avery
has been involved in the successful closing of hundreds of business,
stock and real estate sales and acquisitions, mergers,
start ups and commercial loans. He also assists
clients with their business start-up, financing, and operation needs.
His clients are in such diverse industries as energy, software, IT,
manufacturing, real estate development, healthcare, insurance,
bioscience, and construction. In addition, Mark has a wealth of experience in assisting clients on estate planning and asset protection
issues as well. |
EXPERIENCE
|
Having worked for judges early in his career, Mark understands what is most important to a
court faced with a business dispute. Over ten years ago, Mark served as a Summer Law Clerk for the
Honorable Judge Edward C. Prado of the United States District Court,
Western District of Texas, in San Antonio, Texas, and the Honorable
Judge Anthony Schofield of the Utah Fourth District Court in Provo,
Utah.
From 1998 through 2001, Mr. Avery
practiced law with a small national law firm in Austin, Texas. During
that period of time, his practice centered on very large health care and
insurance transactions and operations.
Since joining Goodall & Davison, P.C.,
Mark has practiced in the following areas of law: Corporate; Mergers,
Acquisitions & Divestitures; Commercial Real Estate; Energy; General Business
and Trademarks; Banking; and Estate & Asset Planning and Probate.
Mr. Avery is also fluent in Spanish.
